Tomog Frees Trapped Badger Girl

Well, how about that. No sooner had my post hit the intertubes than I got word that YSA has indeed escaped the clutches of the nefarious Canadians!

Good work, YSA!

YSA Trapped By Pernicious Canadians

Bad news, sports fans! Read this!

Snow and foul weather are the stated reasons the Canadians give for closing down the Trans-Canada highway, but the real reasons are far more sinister. They're jealously keeping YSA from returning to the wonderful USA!

And as a result, all the people in the teensy tiny town of Field are running out of food. Well, maybe not all the people. Just the people who don't live there.

Why would anyone who doesn't live in Field be in Field in the middle of winter? Well, apparently YSA and CC went there for the skiing. How did they hear about this place? I am sure the Canadian Tourism Board had something to do withhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif it, "Come into my parlor, said the spider to the fly."

Which is all well and good, except that the spider is Canada and the fly is YSA and the parlor is not a parlor it's a podunk town in the middle of a Canadian National Park! In the words of Admiral Akbar, "It's a trap".

All too late, but if Canada thinks that I will sit idly by while they let YSA go the way of the Donner party, they have another thing coming. Perhaps I should remind them that I am armed.

There So Much Wrong With This

This commercial is pretty messed up

First: it's for mcdonalds
Second: it's talking bears
Third: the bear cub goes to school that gives out report cards
Fourth: the bear cub doesn't know what his grades are
Fifth: the father bear rewards his son's good grades with mcdonalds
Sixth: they get mcdonalds by going to a parking lot (in the middle of the woods) where kids are eating mcdonalds
Seventh: they attack the kids
Eighth: the kids inexplicably run out of the car (instead of driving away)
Ninth: they scrounge the food off the car seats

I find the idea of this commercial so deeply insulting and stupid. I mean, a level of stupid that stood out distinctly from the stupid commercials that we've all come to know.
